Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 (4 ounce) thick cut pork chops
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Season pork chops with black pepper and garlic powder. Fry the chops in the butter for 20 to 25 minutes, turning occasionally, until no longer pink and juices run clear, and they are evenly browned.
  • Transfer chops to a plate and cover to keep warm. Deglaze the skillet with whipping cream, scraping up any browned bits. Add blue cheese and stir until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour the creamy blue cheese sauce over the pork chops.
