Pork Chops with Creamy Chive Sauce

Delicious herb-infused dish ready in 20 minutes with just 5 ingredients in one skillet.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick (4 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season both sides of pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once, until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 145°F. Transfer pork chops to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  • Pour the broth and cream cheese into a warm skillet. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, stirring frequently with a whisk until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Mix in 3 tablespoons of chives.
  • Drizzle sauce generously over pork chops and finish by sprinkling with the remaining 1 tablespoon of fresh chives.
