Mouthwatering pork roast with beer, apples, sauerkraut, and onions slow-roasted to juicy perfection in a hot oven. Effortlessly delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) pork loin roast
  • 1 (20 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 large apples, cored and quartered
  • 2 large onions, quartered
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • In a large baking dish, nestle the pork roast, surround it with sauerkraut, apple, and onion quarters. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour beer over the mixture. Cover tightly with foil, sealing it to the edges of the dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until tender and the pan juices are reduced, for 3 to 4 hours. If needed, add another can of beer if it seems dry.
  • Mix sauerkraut with apple and onion quarters, then serve alongside sliced roast.
