Savory pork sausage gravy to top biscuits or toast, can use water instead of milk.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds fresh, ground pork sausage
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 2 cups milk, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Crumble sausage in a skillet and brown until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Incorporate the flour, stirring until it absorbs all the drippings, adding extra flour as needed.
  • Gradually pour in the milk, stirring until creamy. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and season generously with salt and pepper.
