Family favorite no-bake cookies recipe passed down from grandmother. Simple enough for a 9-year-old to make. Customize flavor with chocolate fudge or butterscotch pudding.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 3.5 cups quick-cooking oats
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a 3-quart microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for 2 to 5 minutes until it boils rapidly, stirring occasionally. Let it boil undisturbed for 20 to 30 seconds. Remove from heat, then mix in the instant pudding and oatmeal. Drop spoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheets and let it firm up for at least 15 minutes.
