Indulgent chocolate truffles infused with autumn spice twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 ounces semisweet baking chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
Instructions:
  • Place the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and dot with butter.
  • Gently simmer cream in a saucepan until just below boiling. Take off the heat and pour the hot cream over chopped chocolate and butter evenly. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate by stirring until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract and continue stirring until fully combined. Transfer the chocolate to a flat dish. Chill in the freezer for 1 hour or refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Combine pumpkin pie spice and sugar in a small bowl. Shape the chocolate mixture into 1 to 2-teaspoon-sized balls, then coat them with the pumpkin pie spice mixture. Chill until serving.
