Indulge in pumpkin-spiced waffles for a cozy family breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 1/4 cup frozen (thawed) apple juice concentrate
  • 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, gently heat the syrup ingredients, stirring occasionally, until the juice concentrate is melted and the mixture is warmed through.
  • Preheat waffle iron and grease generously. Mix all waffle ingredients (except pecans and powdered sugar) in a large bowl until smooth. Pour batter into the center of the hot waffle iron and close the lid.
  • Bake until waffle is golden brown and steaming stops. Carefully remove from waffle iron, then sprinkle with pecans and powdered sugar. Serve with syrup.
