Versatile cheese and veggie quiche, perfect any time of day.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked 9 inch pie crust
  • 0.5 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 onion, minced
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Spread a delicious mix of cheese, onions, and mushrooms in a pie shell. Combine egg whites, yolks, flour, and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture over the cheese and vegetables. Gently poke the layers to distribute the eggs evenly. Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper on top.
  • Place the dish in a hot oven for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked through and the top turns a beautiful golden brown.
