Whip up a quick and delicious teriyaki beef stir-fry with veggies in just 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
  • 1 pound beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1 small head broccoli, broken into florets
  • 6 ounces snow peas
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions:
  • Combine water, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, honey, and ginger in a bowl and whisk until fully blended.
  • In a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat, brown steak in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil for about 4 minutes. Push steak to the side and add the other tablespoon of sesame oil in the center. Throw in broccoli, snow peas, bell pepper, and garlic. Stir-fry veggies for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the reserved sauce in the wok, bringing everything to a boil. Cook until the sauce thickens and the vegetables are crisp-tender, approximately 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with freshly chopped green onions for a touch of freshness and color.
