Indulgent Black Forest cake combines decadent chocolate cake with luscious cherries for a stunning and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix with pudding
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • .5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine cake mix, pie filling, chocolate chips, eggs, and almond extract in a mixing bowl until just mixed. Transfer batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Prepare the glaze by melting chocolate chips, milk, and butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat until smooth and well combined. Add confectioners' sugar and stir in.
