Total Time:
Taco pie: layer crescent roll triangles in pie tin with corn chips, ground meat, sour cream, and cheese. Top with more corn chips, bake until golden. Serve with lettuce and avocado slices.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 0.5 cup water

  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla chips

  • Brown the ground chuck in a large fry pan until cooked through. Discard any excess oil. Add the seasoning mix, water, and olives, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Unroll crescent dough and line a 10-inch pie pan with the 8 triangles to create a crust. Sprinkle 1 cup of corn chips over the crust. Spoon meat mixture onto the crust, then top with sour cream and cheese. Finish by sprinkling remaining corn chips over the cheese.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown.
