Ingredients:
  • 250 g strong bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons dried yeast
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 x 400 g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • a few sprigs of fresh basil
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, yeast, sugar, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, and 180ml to 200ml of tepid water, kneading into an elastic dough. Let it rise for 1 hour. Sauté garlic in 4 tablespoons of oil, stir in tomatoes, basil leaves, salt, and pepper. Heat a griddle pan. Divide dough into 4 balls, roll out, brush with oil, and cook oiled side down for 2 to 4 minutes. Flip, cook until golden. Add sauce and your favorite toppings.
