Indulgent lobster bisque brimming with creamy goodness and loaded with succulent lobster chunks.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups half-and-half
  • 1.5 cups lobster stock
  • 3 cups cooked lobster meat, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons minced onion
  • 3 tablespoons minced celery
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 cup cream
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour, sea salt, celery salt, and black pepper. Gradually add half-and-half, ensuring a smooth mixture. Pour in lobster stock and stir. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring continuously until the soup thickens, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Combine the lobster, tomato paste, onion, and celery into the soup. Season with paprika, thyme, and seafood seasoning. Allow the onion and celery to heat through for about 10 minutes. Stir in the cream and cook until everything is hot, around 5 minutes.
