Whip up a scrumptious fruit loaf in just 1 hour using a cake mix!
Ingredients:
  • 330g packet vanilla cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 117.50 gm sour cream
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 250.00 ml dried fruit medley
  • 111.38 gm maple syrup
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to a toasty 190°C and prepare a 19cm x 9cm loaf pan by greasing it and lining it.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together cake mix, egg, sour cream, and milk on low speed until just mixed. Increase speed to medium and beat for 4 minutes using an electric mixer.
  • Gently incorporate the fruit into the cake batter. Transfer the mixture into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the center.
  • Drizzle the cake with syrup, let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then flip it onto a wire rack and serve.
