Quick Peach Cobbler

Quick and easy peach cobbler using Bisquick® mix and sweet peach pie filling.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling
  • 2 cups frozen sliced peaches, thawed
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
  • Additional sugar, if desired
  • Ground nutmeg, if desired
Instructions:
  • Spread the pie filling and sliced peaches in an ungreased 8-inch square pan. Place the pan in a cold oven and preheat to 400°F. Allow the pie filling and peaches to heat for 10 minutes.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, sugar, milk, and butter in a small bowl. Use a fork to mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Take the pan out of the oven and spoon 6 portions of dough onto the warm peach mixture. Sprinkle with extra sugar and nutmeg.
  • Bake until topping turns a lovely light brown, about 18 to 20 minutes.
