Quick and yeast-free bread rolls made in a pie maker, perfect for camping or busy days.
Ingredients:
  • 225g self-raising flour
  • 80ml milk
  • 50g butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Combine the flour and salt in a bowl, making a well in the center. Add the milk, butter, and egg, then gently stir until just combined.
  • Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth. Divide it into 8 equal portions and roll each portion until smooth.
  • Take four pieces of dough and put them into a pie maker. Gently flatten them and use a sharp knife to score a small cross in the middle of each. Turn on the pie maker and close the lid. Cook for 10-12 minutes, brushing with milk halfway through, until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest of the dough. Serve warm.
