Quick and easy sausage rolls recipe!
Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 187.50 ml grated cheddar cheese
  • 12 chipolata sausages
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C. Prepare a baking tray with baking paper. Halve the pastry sheets and generously sprinkle cheese, leaving a 2cm border around the edges.
  • Lay 3 sausages in a row along the longest side of each pastry piece. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg. Roll up the pastry to seal the sausages and cheese inside.
  • Cut each roll into 3 even pieces, place seam-side-down onto a baking tray, brush with egg, sprinkle with seeds, and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
