Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 0.5 tablespoon miso paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions:
  • Place the green beans in a steamer basket over simmering water. Cover and steam for 5 minutes until tender. Transfer the beans to a serving bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, miso paste, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger. Drizzle mixture over green beans, toss gently to coat, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
