Sesame beef stir-fry

Try our quick and tasty sesame beef stir-fry!
Ingredients:
  • 400g beef stir-fry strips
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2cm piece ginger, finely grated
  • 1 carrot, peeled, cut into thin strips
  • 115g baby corn, halved lengthways
  • 150g green beans, trimmed
  • 48.80 gm oyster sauce
  • 48.80 gm fish sauce
  • 15.00 gm caster sugar
  • steamed jasmine rice, to serve
Instructions:
  • Toss beef and sesame seeds together in a bowl until coated evenly.
  • 1. Heat a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat, then add 1 tablespoon of oil and swirl to coat. 2. Stir-fry half of the beef mixture for 1 to 2 minutes until browned, then set it aside on a plate. 3. Repeat with the rest of the beef mixture. 4. Add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger to the wok, stir-fry for 1 minute until aromatic. 5. Add carrot, corn, and beans, stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • In a bowl, mix oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Add this sauce to the wok along with the beef and its juices. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the beef is heated through. Serve with rice.
