Colorful Rainbow Cupcakes made with Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ ingredients for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 3 tubs (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • Purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red food colors
  • 24 gumballs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions, incorporating water, oil, and eggs. Distribute the batter evenly among muffin cups. Bake and allow to cool as directed to enjoy delicious cupcakes.
  • Separate frosting into 6 bowls. Stir in a different color of food coloring into each bowl. Fill a piping bag with pastry tip #806 (or any large-hole tip). Pipe colorful rings of frosting onto cupcakes. Finish by topping with gumballs. Enjoy!
