Crispy zucchini with tangy dressing, made with Bisquick batter.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 small zucchini, cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup ranch dressing
Instructions:
  • Combine Bisquick mix with aromatic herbs and spices in a shallow bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until well beaten.
  • Heat 2 cups of oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy 3-quart saucepan. Dip zucchini strips in batter, then eggs, and batter again. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Enjoy the crispy zucchini strips hot and dip them in ranch dressing.
