Delicious raspberry-filled oat bars.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar raspberry preserves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add oats, flour, salt, and baking powder; stir well. Press half of the mixture into the pan. Spread preserves over the crust. Crumble the remaining mixture over the raspberry layer. Enjoy!
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake until the top turns a light golden brown, typically around 20 to 25 minutes. Ensure the bars are completely cooled before cutting and serving.
