Raspberry Skillet Brownie

Decadent fudgy dessert with raspberry-filled chocolates, fresh raspberries, and baked in cast-iron skillet.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on box for cakelike brownies
  • 1 raspberry-filled dark chocolate bar (3.5 oz)
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh raspberries, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease the bottom of an 8-inch cast-iron skillet with shortening. Prepare brownie batter following the instructions on the box for a cakelike texture.
  • Spread half of the indulgent brownie batter in the skillet. Break a luscious chocolate bar into squares and artfully place them on top of the batter, leaving the center untouched. Cover with the rest of the brownie batter, then generously sprinkle with 1/4 cup of vibrant raspberries.
  • Bake for 45 to 48 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out nearly clean. Allow it to cool for 45 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar, cut into wedges, and enjoy warm with fresh raspberries, if desired.
