Sauteed Swiss chard with pine nuts, garlic, and prosciutto for a flavorful Italian side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 cups chopped red Swiss chard
  • 0.25 pound sliced prosciutto, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add pine nuts and cook until light golden brown, about 2 minutes, being careful not to burn them. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Add the Swiss chard and sauté until wilted, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper, then gently incorporate the chopped prosciutto until heated through. Serve immediately.
