"Sautéed Swiss chard with garlic, red onion, white wine, lemon, and Parmesan cheese for a delicious and flavorful side."
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 small red onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 bunch Swiss chard, stems and center ribs cut out and chopped together, leaves coarsely chopped separately
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your flavorful ingredients for an exquisite culinary experience.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine olive oil and butter. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant for about 30 seconds. Pour in chard stems and white wine; simmer until stems begin to soften for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the chard leaves and cook until they are just wilted.
  • Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the dish, mix gently to blend the flavors; then, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and adjust salt to taste.
  • Indulge in while piping hot!
