Delightful sweet mini poppers for a fun treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 bottle (1 oz) red food color
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
  • Assorted sprinkles and candies, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine cake mix, softened butter, eggs, and food color in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well mixed (batter will be thick). Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until just set. Transfer the cookies from the sheets to cooling racks and let them cool completely, around 15 minutes.
  • Spread a generous amount of cream cheese frosting on the bottom side of one cookie. Place another cookie on top, bottom side down, gently pressing them together. Finish by rolling the edges in colorful sprinkles for a delightful touch.
