Delightful reindeer cupcakes, perfect for kids this Christmas. Santa's top choice!
Ingredients:
  • 540g pkt Devil’s Food Cake mix
  • 3 Free Range Eggs
  • 80ml vegetable oil
  • 185ml water
  • 250.00 ml Creamy Deluxe Vanilla Frosting
  • 35g chocolate buttons
  • Coles Funny Face Icing Figurines, eyes only, to decorate
  • Red jelly beans, to decorate
  • Chocolate writing icing, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and line 16 muffin pan cavities with paper cases.
  • Combine the cake mix with eggs, oil, and water as directed on the packet. Divide the batter evenly among paper cases. Bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted in the center. Allow them to cool in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Combine the chocolate frosting sachet from the cake mix packet with the vanilla frosting in a bowl. Mix until smooth. Spread the icing over cupcakes and make the surface even.
  • Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, making sure the bowl does not touch the water. Stir until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate into a sealable plastic bag, snip off a corner, and pipe out 32 antlers onto the prepared tray. Chill in the fridge until set, about 5 minutes.
  • Decorate the cupcakes by arranging the antlers and eyes, creating noses with jelly beans, and drawing mouths with chocolate writing icing.
