Upgrade your Reuben sandwich with top-notch Jarlsberg cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 225g pkt fresh coleslaw
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) coleslaw dressing
  • 1 x 410g can sauerkraut
  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 25g butter, at room temperature
  • 46.80 gm Dijon mustard
  • 320g shaved pastrami
  • 4 slices Jarlsberg cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high. In a large bowl, toss the coleslaw with the dressing. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge until needed.
  • Heat sauerkraut in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Toast rye bread until brown. Spread with butter and mustard. Divide sauerkraut among 4 bread slices. Top with pastrami and grill until warm. Add cheese slices and grill until melted. Finish with remaining bread, and serve with coleslaw.
