Roast chicken with steamed seasonal vegetables

Satisfy your loved ones with a classic roast chicken paired with fresh, seasonal veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 3 brown onions
  • 1 whole large chicken (approx. 1.5kg)
  • 3 heads garlic
  • 200g green beans
  • 200g broccoli (1 large head)
  • 200g cauliflower (1 half head)
  • 1 sachet Perfect For Roast Chicken Herb & Spice Blend
  • 1 pouch Cheese Finishing Sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Peel and cut onion into wedges. Peel garlic and cut in half across the bulb.
  • Add onions and garlic to an ovenproof roasting dish, then drizzle with olive oil.
  • Massage the MasterFoods Perfect For Roast Chicken Herb & Spice Blend into the chicken, then lay the chicken on a bed of onion and garlic before baking for 90 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Prepare the steamed vegetables by washing them thoroughly. Trim the ends of the beans and place them in a steamer, along with the cut broccoli and cauliflower florets.
  • Steam the veggies until perfectly tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Plate the roast chicken and vegetables. Heat the MasterFoods Cheese Finishing Sauce and drizzle it over the steamed vegetables.
