Holiday side dish: Roasted Brussel sprouts with garlic, Parmesan, balsamic vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Coat Brussels sprouts in a delicious mix of olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Transfer to a 9x13-inch baking pan, ensuring they are spread out evenly.

  • Toss sprouts with balsamic vinegar, top with Parmesan, and roast until cheese melts, approximately 1 minute. Finish with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
