Crispy roasted Brussels sprouts, seasoned with olive oil, salt, and black pepper for tender perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
  • Combine trimmed Brussels sprouts with olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper in a sealed plastic bag, then shake vigorously to evenly coat all the ingredients.
  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and position it on the center rack in the oven.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking the pan every 5 to 7 minutes for even browning. Ensure Brussels sprouts are dark brown, almost black. Adjust seasoning with kosher salt and serve hot.
