Italian bread slathered with buttery roasted garlic, Parmesan cheese, and broiled to golden crisp perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3 heads garlic
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Remove the tops off garlic heads to expose the clove tips. Arrange the garlic heads cut-side up on a baking sheet and drizzle the tops with olive oil.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until garlic is tender, approximately 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to broil.
  • Cut the bread loaf in half horizontally and place it on a baking sheet with the cut side facing up.
  • Remove the garlic cloves from their skins into a medium bowl. Combine with butter, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until fully mixed. Spread the mixture onto the cut sides of the bread.
  • Toast the bread under the broiler for approximately 5 minutes until golden brown.
