Bake cinnamon vanilla apples in flaky pie crust for a simple and delicious rustic galette.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared pie crust (such as Pillsbury®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and grease a baking sheet.
  • Mix apples, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Spread pie crust on a baking sheet. Fill the center with the apple mixture, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the crust over the apple filling.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
