Salmon with lemon butter sauce recipe

Create an irresistible salmon meal with tangy lemon butter sauce that will leave everyone wanting seconds!
Ingredients:
  • 30g butter
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 500ml fish stock
  • 10.60 gm lemon juice
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 4 Salmon Skin Off Portions
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Steamed baby broccoli, to serve
  • Steamed green beans, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until it foams. Stir in flour and garlic, cooking for 1 minute until bubbling. Remove from heat. Gradually whisk in stock, then return to medium heat until simmering. Cook for 15 minutes until mixture reduces and thickens. Strain into a jug and stir in lemon juice. Cover to keep warm.
  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the salmon for 2-3 minutes on each side until done to your liking. Transfer to a plate. Caramelize the lemon slices in the same pan for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • Plate the salmon evenly on serving plates and generously coat with the luscious lemon butter sauce. Garnish with lemon slices, baby broccoli, and beans for a vibrant and delicious presentation.
