Indulgent cocoa-chocolate cookies enhanced by salt flakes, destined to be your go-to treat.
Ingredients:
  • 275g 70% dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 375.00 ml plain flour
  • 97.50 gm Cocoa Powder
  • 270.00 gm dark brown sugar
  • 180g salted butter
  • 3 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 4.80 gm salt flakes
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C (160C fan-forced) and line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine butter, 100g dark chocolate, and 50g milk chocolate until melted. Allow the mixture to cool slightly for 10 minutes.
  • Start by sifting flour and cocoa into a large bowl. Mix in the sugar. Add the chocolate mixture and eggs, stir well to combine. Gently fold in the remaining chopped chocolate. Scoop slightly heaped tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls. Arrange them on the prepared tray, spacing them 5cm apart. Lightly press down on each ball with your fingers. Bake for 11 minutes, then sprinkle with salt and bake for an additional minute. Allow the cookies to cool on the trays for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
