Elevate sausages with this quick and flavorful stir-fry dish.
Ingredients:
  • 8 thick chicken sausages
  • Noodles, to serve
  • Coriander leaves, to serve
  • Chopped chilli, to serve
  • 27.30 gm peanut oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 birdseye chilli, deseeded, chopped
  • 252.50 gm coconut cream
  • 65.00 gm peanut butter
  • 18.30 gm fish sauce
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 10.60 gm lime juice
Instructions:
  • Prepare the sauce by heating oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and chili, and cook until soft. Stir in coconut cream, peanut butter, fish sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Finish by adding lime juice and stirring well.
  • Heat up your grill, barbecue plate, or frying pan over a medium heat. Cook the sausages for about 8 minutes until they are golden and fully cooked. Then, slice them up.
  • Enjoy a delicious dish by serving sausages with flavorful satay sauce and noodles. Garnish with fresh coriander and extra chili for added heat.
