Create a crowd-pleasing party appetizer with flaky crescent roll dough wrapped around savory sausage and creamy cheese filling. Guaranteed to disappear fast!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
  • Brown and crumble sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes. Remove and discard excess grease.
  • Lay out crescent roll dough on work surface, press perforations to make one sheet. Spread half of the cream cheese on the dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle half of the cooked sausage over cream cheese. Roll the dough into a log starting from a long side, then wrap in plastic wrap or parchment paper. Repeat the process for the second roll. Chill rolls until firm, minimum 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375°F (190°C).
  • Take the rolls out of the refrigerator and unwrap them. Slice the rolls into 1/2-inch-thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, around 10-15 minutes in the preheated oven.
