Savory sausage and cream cheese casserole with flaky crescent roll crust for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease the bottom of a 9x11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage until browned and crumbly, for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove and discard excess grease, then fold in cream cheese until fully incorporated.
  • Gently press the crescent roll dough from 1 can into the bottom of the baking dish without separating them. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  • Cover the sausage mixture with another layer of crescent roll dough.
  • Bake until the top layer turns a beautiful golden brown, approximately 8 minutes.
