Cheesy pork sausage balls make a delicious topping for pasta.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage, regular or hot
  • 2 cups finely shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese blend
  • 1.25 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Combine ground sausage, shredded cheese, flour, and cream cheese in a large bowl until evenly mixed. Shape mixture into walnut-sized balls using your hands or cookie scoop and arrange on the baking sheet.
  • Place the sausage balls in the preheated oven and bake until they are golden brown and cooked through, for about 20 minutes.
