Savory sausage balls with creamy cheese; 4 ingredients, easy prep, perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1.25 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick ®)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment, blend sausage, baking mix, cream cheese, and Cheddar cheese on low speed for 2 to 3 minutes until thoroughly mixed.
  • Form mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on a rimmed baking stone.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for 22 to 25 minutes until golden brown and no longer pink in the center. Ensure the internal temperature reads 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) with an instant-read thermometer.
