Tangy lemon shrimp in white wine sauce with garlic and rosemary, perfect over rice or pasta for a quick, flavorful dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 pounds uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, chopped, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 0.75 cup white wine, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Drizzle shrimp with fresh lemon juice and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion, celery, and garlic in olive oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in rosemary, basil, oregano, coriander, and bay leaf. Pour in white wine and Worcestershire sauce, simmer until sauce slightly thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Cook shrimp in the flavorful sauce until they turn a beautiful pink color, which should take around 5 to 7 minutes.
