Sauteed red cabbage with apple

Elevate your barbecue with a refreshing, vibrant fruit side dish!
Ingredients:
  • 650g red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 85.00 gm sultanas
  • 2 medium granny smith apples, quartered, cored, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large heavy-based saucepan over medium heat, combine cabbage, sultanas, sugar, vinegar, and 1/4 cup cold water. Stir for 2 minutes until mixed well. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is almost tender.
  • Toss in apple with cabbage. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until apple is tender. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
