Indulgent pear tart with cardamom, almond, and cinnamon for an unforgettable dessert experience.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 0.75 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pears, drained and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and generously coat a 9-inch fluted tart pan with removable bottom with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, cream together sugar and butter until crumbly. Mix in flour and almonds. Press the mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of the tart pan.
  • In a separate small bowl, vigorously whisk smooth cream cheese. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly. Spread this mixture over the crust and elegantly arrange pear slices on top.
  • Mix together sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon in a small bowl, then generously sprinkle over the pears.
  • After baking at a high temperature for 10 minutes, lower the oven temperature and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the filling is firm and reaches 160 degrees F.
  • Allow the tart to cool on a wire rack for 1 hour, then chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before slicing.
