Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup vinegar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sliced canned beets, drained
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Place the beets in an elegant glass or ceramic bowl, drizzle the warm, tangy vinegar mixture over them. Cover and chill for 12 hours. Drain and plate for a delightful presentation.
