Refreshing lime Jell-O salad with Cool Whip, cream cheese, and juicy canned pears for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans pear halves
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Heat 1 cup reserved pear juice in a saucepan until boiling. Pour over lime gelatin in a bowl and stir until dissolved. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and milk until creamy. Fold in gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, puree the pears. Mix the pureed pears and whipped topping into the gelatin mixture. Transfer the mixture into a mold. Refrigerate until firm, approximately 2 to 3 hours.
  • Briefly immerse the mold in warm water for about 5 seconds, then flip it onto a serving plate.
