Try this simple and delicious recipe for buttery pan-seared catfish with a spicy mustard and black pepper crust.
Ingredients:
  • 4 whole catfish, cleaned with head and tail removed
  • 0.5 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 0.25 cup cracked black pepper
  • 0.25 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Pat the catfish dry, then generously spread mustard over the surface. Transfer cracked black pepper to a plate and firmly press the coated catfish into it until fully covered.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm up the olive oil and butter until sizzling. Cook the catfish for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or until easily flaked with a fork.
