Whip up a quick and delicious baked pork appetizer using Bisquick® mix in just 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 pound pork boneless loin chops, 1 inch thick
  • 1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup sesame seed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • Sweet-and-sour sauce or mustard, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with 1 tablespoon of butter. Trim fat from pork, then slice it into 1/4-inch slices and cut those slices into 1/2-inch-wide strips.
  • Combine Bisquick, sesame seed, salt, paprika, and mustard in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Dip the pork strips in the egg mixture, then coat them with the sesame seed mixture. Arrange the pork strips in a single layer in a pan and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Bake until golden and crispy, usually about 25-30 minutes. Enjoy with sweet-and-sour sauce.
