Savory smoked sausage and veggies on a garlicky, cheesy white pizza - a family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen pizza crust
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 (8 ounce) ball fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced yellow bell pepper
  • 0.25 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 (14 ounce) package Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices
  • 0.66666668653488 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Instructions:
  • Allow the pizza crust to thaw and rise as directed on the package.
  • Coat an 11x17-inch sheet tray with 3 tablespoons of oil. Gently stretch the dough to cover the entire tray, ensuring it reaches all corners. If the dough is resistant, allow it to rest for 10 minutes before trying to stretch it again.
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Combine 3 tablespoons of oil, chopped garlic, and fresh oregano in a small bowl. Evenly drizzle and spread the mixture on top of the crust.
  • Layer on fresh mozzarella slices, shredded mozzarella, yellow bell pepper, red onion, smoked sausage slices, and cherry tomatoes on top.
  • Place in the oven on the lower rack and bake for 18-20 minutes until the crust turns golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
