Indulge in a lavish crab and shrimp casserole, a seafood-infused take on a classic baked dish. Feel free to use either fresh crabmeat or imitation for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages frozen shrimp, thawed
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 0.5 cup sliced almonds
  • 10 buttery round crackers, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
  • Bring water in a saucepan to a boil, then add rice and stir. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Mix together the crabmeat, shrimp, rice, mayo, onion, milk, hot sauce, and almonds in a casserole dish until well combined.
  • Sprinkle crumbled crackers evenly over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven until bubbling, about 30-40 minutes.
