Flavorful baked chicken legs with minimal ingredients for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds chicken legs
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 0.25 cup garlic-infused olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Instructions:
  • Transfer the chicken legs to a medium bowl.
  • Combine water and salt until salt dissolves in a separate bowl. Pour over the chicken legs, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch square pan for the chicken legs, ensuring they have enough space without crowding.
  • Remove excess moisture from the chicken legs by draining and gently patting them dry. Generously coat with oil, then season both sides with fragrant rosemary and zesty pepper before transferring to the preheated pan.
  • Roast in the heated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, turning halfway, until meat by the bone is no longer pink and juices run clear. Check with an instant-read thermometer – it should show 165°F (74°C).
  • Present the arrangement on a platter and generously garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig. Serve while warm.
